How to claim a Partnership Voucher

Are you looking for a way to share the fun of Overtime and make it easy for your friends to start using the platform? Well look no further than Overtime's NFT Vouchers. Anyone can generate an NFT Voucher that can be sent to a friend's wallet and used as collateral to purchase positions on Overtime. How cool is that?

This feature was voted in courtesy of TIP-76 and lets traders create Vouchers in any of the following USD denominations: 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 200, 500 or 1000. Please note that on Optimism the vouchers will be sUSD based and on Arbitrum they will be USDC based.

Using an NFT Voucher to Purchase a Position

It's easy to see if you are currently holding an NFT Voucher in your wallet. Once you've connected your wallet to Overtime your USD total in Vouchers will display next to your address in the upper right corner of the screen.

When you hover your mouse over the voucher amount, you'll see Zebro along with your total amount of USD in vouchers. You will also have a new form of collateral to use when creating a position.

Purchasing a position with a Voucher works the same way it would with any of the other forms of collateral. Simply select the Voucher icon in the list of available collateral and enter the amount you'd like to spend on the position.

Minting an NFT Voucher

Minting an NFT Voucher is also easy to do. From the Home page, simply open the Menu and find the "Mint Voucher" button in the bottom right corner of the page.

Next you'll want to select the amount of USD you'd like to add to the voucher. You can choose to keep the voucher and use it on the platform yourself, or you can send it to another wallet by clicking "Send a Voucher to Another Wallet" and entering the address you'd like to receive it. Vouchers can only be sent to addresses on the same network (Optimism or Arbitrum) as the one you are currently using.

You'll be prompted to complete the USD approval transaction and once that's complete you can execute the "Mint" transaction. This will exchange your chosen amount of USD for a Voucher with an equivalent amount of USD and send it directly to the recipient wallet. Now your friend will see their Voucher next to their wallet address in the upper right of the screen.

Vouchers make it easy to share Overtime with friends, community members, colleagues or whoever; it's up to you!
